Leedhams is a family business which was established in 1990 by Barry Leedham, who, after a long career in sales and management in Financial Services, wanted to return to an environment in which he would be directly advising clients.

Leedhams is directly regulated by the Financial Services Authority and was awarded Chartered Status by the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2007, one of the first companies in the North West to achieve this honour.

Leedhams has built good relationships with its clients and takes pride in retaining them for many years. We have also established strong connections with other professionals in the North West, notably Accountants and Solicitors, who refer their clients to us for professional financial advice.

At Leedhams we aim to achieve a welcoming, professional environment where our staff are polite, patient and well qualified, and where our clients’ needs are paramount. Staff development and training is encouraged and most of our staff regularly take professional examinations to keep their expertise up to date. Remuneration for our services is flexible; clients have the choice of paying fees or opting for a commission offset arrangement.
